Venezuelan President Receives Invitation to Attend the 5th GECF Gas Summit

The invitation was presented by Equatorial Guinea’s Secretary-General of the Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons, Don José Manuel Ndong Nze.

The President of the Republic of Venezuela, H.E. Nicolás Maduro, has received an official invitation to participate in the 5th Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) Summit of Heads of State and Government, taking place in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on November 26-29, 2019.

The invitation was presented to the President by Secretary-General of the Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons, Don José Manuel Ndong Nze, during an official visit to Venezuela on Thursday, 25 July.

This comes a day after the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, received his invitation to participate in the 5th GECF Summit from Equatorial Guinea’s State Secretary of Mines and Hydrocarbons, Santiago Mba Eneme Nsuga.

The Equatorial Guinean delegation was received by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, who expressed that he would like the high-level delegation from Equatorial Guinea to participate in the 18th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement, which will take place in Azerbaijan in October 2019.
